Bridge To Wellness provides up to $25,000 to help an individual with cancer in South Puget Sound by bridging the gap in services throughout the entire cancer journey. Assisting with essential expenses like food, housing, select medical supplies, and caregiving. Eligible patients must have stage 0-3 cancer, be in active treatment, face financial hardship as defined by the guidelines, and be from the South Puget Sound.
The Urgent Financial Assistance Fund is designated for individuals currently undergoing cancer treatment, providing a one-time annual grant of $350. This aid is specifically tailored to assist with essential non-medical expenses, including utilities, rent, mortgage, groceries, gas, and so on. Eligibility for assistance is determined by either income level or medical necessity.
The Journey Fund has partnered with Alicia Gutierez, M.A. in counseling at Polis Recovery Project to provide emergent counseling services to individuals receiving cancer treatment. This service is intended to serve uninsured and underinsured individuals and/or individuals who are unable to access mental health care due to long wait times.
